Nautronics was started in late 2012 by Tom Rundle.
Tom served as an electronics technician at the NZ Raymarine distributor for four years from 2004, and as a marine electrician at an Auckland firm for five years, during which time he developed an early iPad integration system.
Tom is on the EWRB list of high achievers for those who score 95% or more in their respective exams.
Tom was the junior of two electricians on ETNZ's AC75 boat 1 - Te Aihe, and 12m test boat Te Kahu, and one of the locals called in to assist American Magic with the rebuild of Patriot during the Prada Cup.
